Hot Spots: The Meat & Wine Co Restaurant Review

Yesterday it was my friend Sheila's birthday and we went to The Meat & Wine Co in Westfield, Shepherds Bush. I have never been before but whenever i am in Westfield i always rush by it, usually hurrying for a spot of shopping. lolol. I was tempted to do some yesterday as i passed Gucci then i remembered what i was here for and shopping was not on the menu and quickly turned on my heel and dashed past. lolol

Myself and the Birthday Girl Sheila

The Meat & Wine Co is an international steakhouse with some restaurants located in Australia, Middle East, Africa, Israel and UK.

The Meat & Wine Co is known for its steaks which i have been hearing is absolutely divine,  definitely a place for a meat lover. Serving a variety of meat in a chic, unique and sophisticated yet relaxed environment

The interior is soo inviting. I loved the dark setting yet with custom built in lights, high ceilings and comfortable furnishings in warm earthy colours.

This light decor i loved. It looks like clockwork..

I had a cheese burger, i know i should have really went in and order something a little different but i was on a budget so a burger it was.

  Passion Blast
I also ordered 2 cocktails. Yes i couldn't decide which one, so  just got both. The cocktails i got was Passion Blast which contained Fresh lemon with passion fruit syrup, sugar syrup, Stolichnaya vanilla and passoa float.

The 2nd cocktail i had was Toblerone ( like the chocolate) which contained Frangelico, Baileys, Kahula, cream and honey blended with crushed ice.
The ones i went for were pretty tasty cocktails. mmm.  The cocktail list was amazing, hence why i got two. tee hee

They also have happy hour on a few drinks such as the classic mojito and cosmo which the price have already been slashed. Too bad happy hour doesn't apply to all drinks.

Above all, the food was tasty and service was spot on.

Starter: Salt and Pepper Calamari £7.00

Specialities - Flame grilled butcher skewer £18

I had my eye on Vanilla Brulee, but i didn't have a chance to sample any dessert. (my friend advised beforehand not to look at the menu as cake will follow by dinner.)  It just gives me another reason to come by sample the steak and have that dessert.

                                                     OOTD: Dress - Warehouse
The price range is between £25-£30 pp but it just depends what you order really. My meal was £11.25 (which i was happy with, i didn't bother order a starter, i went straight in with the main) and my drinks which i brought earlier  at the bar was £11 as well.

So if you happen to be in the area of Westfield definitely past by The Meat &Wine Co and sample the food for yourself. Or happily hang around for cocktails. One way or another you'll definitely enjoy yourself.
