I first came across this spot by reading Rosie from the Londoner review on it and thought it would be a lovely spot to indulge in for my birthday lunch.
I went to Granger & Co with my friend Gi Gi. There was so much choice on the menu I was spoilt for choice. I couldn't decide whether to try the ricotta hotcakes, banana & honeycomb butter dish or something a little more adventurous.
I was urming and aahing on what to get, in the end I settled for the Prawn and Linguine with Chilli and Rocket whilst Gi Gi went for the Yellow Fish Curry, Spiced Butternut Squash, Jasmine Rice & Cucumber Relish. Both meals arrived on time and was cooked to perfection, flavoursome and tasted very yummy.
Although I must say the first glare of Gi Gi's dish. I wished I had ordered it. But hey next time when I swing by that will be one of my selections.
As usual for me no meal is complete with a dessert and the White Chocolate & Pistachio Pavlova, Passionfruit & Rosewater Cream topped with rhubard which stood out to me by far especially as I am a huge fan of white chocolate anything. This was a very nice yet heavy dessert and also very sweet with the rhubarb on top, however it was a very pleasant dessert.
Overall the food was of a great quality and of a good standard. Definitely worth checking out if your out and about in Notting Hill. Go for it you won't be disappointed.
Have you been Granger & Co? What was your experience?
