The Detox Kitchen

On Wednesday 9th April I attended the Detox Kitchen Pre launch in Kingly Street, Just off Carnaby street; I was invited by the lovely guys of Platform Creative PR.

The Detox Kitchen is a healthy deli "where healthy meets delicious" and is founded by Lily Simpson. This is the second outlet with the first one opening its doors in April last year at the prestigious Harvey Nichols. The deli boosts a light, airy and serene setting and aims to inspire mindful eating and deliver nutritious goodness to busy Londoners.

The Detox Kitchen deli comprises of fresh seasonal salads, lean meat and fish, fresh smoothies and juices, teas and delicious snacks which include wheat, dairy and sugar free treats.

Take the  Cacao Beetroot brownie for example. I am not the slightest fan of eating beetroot; it doesn't agree with my taste buds but packed a punch in a brownie, I will take back what I once said; It is prime perfect and you don't even taste the beetroot. Another good thing about the brownie that it contains cacao which helps regulate blood pressure and reduce cholesterol while building up the immune system. It is also a great source of sulfar and benefits strong nails, shiny hair and healthy liver and pancreas.

Another highlight for me was sampling portions from the ever inviting salad bar which included a colourful bowl of ingredients such as Quinoa, Peppers, Spring Onions, Butternut Squash, Wild Rice, Avocado with red onions and broccoli. One word: HEAVENLY!!

The smoothies & juices were named perfectly. The Gorgeous Green Goddess consisted of - Apple, Celery, Cucumber & Mint along with Raspberry Love Smoothie - Raspberry, Coconut & Banana.

I was fairy impressed by the offerings that the Detox Kitchen had to offer and have been back since.

The new deli is located at 10 Kingly Street, London, W1B 5PJ and is now opened!!

Stop by for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Or a takeaway. You'll be pleased to know they also deliver. Eating healthy has never been so easy.
